The view of what it means to be a part of UW-Stout has changed. The traditional view of what it means is still there, but there are new views. Whether you are a student, alumni, friend or employee, your view of UW-Stout is unique. Let’s share some photos and such to show the world our view of UW-Stout. And let’s grow this thing into a multi-channel campaign.
On October 22, 2020 at 2:30 pm CST, Professor Kevin W. Tharp’s ICT Analytics class will be conducting an in class Synchronous lab experiment related to a multi-channel social media campaign. It is called “I Spy UW-Stout”. The class purpose is to learn about the process of going from nothing to “something” in the world of digital social media. This page serves as a conduit to that campaign and this is where we will list the various channels that get created.
The students will take charge of where this goes by finding ways to contribute to the project as a team. We will use this as a tool to give us a view of the campaign from various analytics platforms. For instance, we have Google Analytics set up on this page, and we will be able to view the analytics data live during and after the class. We will also have access to analytics from any social media platforms that are brought into the mix.
The initial elements are this page, a Facebook Group, and a Teams site. We invite all UW-Stout Stakeholders, students, alumni, friends, and employees to participate. We want to make this fun, educational, and show the affinity that our people have with UW-Stout.
We have no idea where this is going to go, or if it is going to go. But we hope you come along for the ride.
If you are able to log into uwstout.edu, then we welcome you to join the experiment’s Teams page.
Join our Facebook Group and post your view for I Spy UW-Stout!
